The heavy steering is mostly due to the failure of the steering hydraulic booster system, which has nothing to do with the steering machinery. Specific reasons leading to heavy steering include:

Insufficient hydraulic oil; The sealing performance of the system is poor, and air enters into the hydraulic system; Hydraulic pump cavity wear or drive hydraulic pump belt gear damage, these can lead to hydraulic booster system does not work.

Steering deviation phenomenon is more due to the maintenance of the steering gear assembly or improper adjustment caused, especially the steering gear worm gear and hydraulic oil distribution valve assembly and improper adjustment, can cause steering deviation, sometimes, the two front wheel brake adjustment can also cause new deviation. The phenomenon of steering swing is mainly caused by loose steering connection mechanism, improper positioning of front wheels and difference between two front wheels. The abnormal noise is caused by the loose driving belt pulley, loose bolts fixing steering pump or low liquid level of oil reservoir.

Combined with the above situations, we should correctly use and maintain the hydraulic pressure steering mechanism in practical work.

Specifically, the following should be done:

1. Regularly check whether there is a shortage of the hydraulic oil in the steering system. If there is a shortage, it should be added in time.

2, in the maintenance, should check the tightness of the steering pump belt, to see if there is a fracture, if there should be timely replacement, the tightness should be finger press 1cm or so is appropriate;

3, regularly check the hydraulic system pipe joint whether there is oil leakage phenomenon, hydraulic oil pipe should be as far as possible to avoid friction with other components, in order to prevent damaged air intake, at the same time, the hydraulic hose should be replaced regularly to prevent peeling of the hose and plug the pipeline;

4, in the maintenance of the steering gear, should be installed and adjusted properly, especially between the worm gear, worm assembly, steel ball must be installed enough, steel slide rail is not allowed to have deformation, hydraulic oil distribution valve and piston cavity wall to clean, choose quality, model matching oil seal to prevent hydraulic oil leakage;

5, when turning, do not "kill" the direction, especially in situ turning, to leave a certain margin, to ensure that the hydraulic steering system in the normal working state.
